Scout Jamboree 2011

Guys,
As I talked about last night, jamboree is on at the end of the year (details to date below) and we have booked the maximum 36 Scouts and 10 leaders.

The camp costs are noted below but we also have transport and gear costs as well. Last time, we raised $26,000 k and it cost each only Scout $225. We think we can do that again, perhaps even raise the whole lot.

I need to know ASAP (email me) if you want to go. First in, first served and believe me, you don’t NOT want to go!!!! If you want to see what the guys got up to two years ago at C-Jam in ChCh, look at this, or ask the Senior Scouts.

19th New Zealand Scout Jamboree 

December 29th 2010 - January 6th 2011 

The 19th New Zealand Scout Jamboree is to be held at the Mystery Creek Events Centre. 

Important Dates are:

• Tuesday, 28 December, 12 noon: Site open for advance parties 
• Wednesday, 29 December, 9am: 

• Site open for troops. 
• First rations issued for dinner this date.
• Opening ceremony in the evening. 

• Thursday, 6 January: Closing ceremony in the evening. 
• Friday, 7 January: Last rations issued for breakfast this day. 

Jamboree Fees: 
Youth and leaders: $645
Jamboree staff: $380
Casual Staff: $25
Family camp: $10/adult/day
$5/child over10/day
