Well, prize giving was a hoot! With two scouts and four venturers in attendance, they only just out numbered the five leaders who were there as well.
We did reasonably well overall, getting a large number of second places overall with a fair number of firsts thrown in. One highlight of the night, was that Xavier, who actually won the Onepoto Rowing got to collect the Kurt Hansen Plate, the first time this trophy has been awarded.
One omission which was pointed out after the prize giving was that the results from the Worser Bay regatta were not included in these proceedings, but we all know what they were. (If you don't have a look at the write up here.)

From the pictures above, the highlights for me are the fact that
- we brought home five trophies, more than we have in the last two years (three in 2018 and none last year)
- two of the trophies we won were for the Onepoto Regatta, our own.
- our intermediates pulled off a win overall for the season in their sunburst racing
- we were recognised as the biggest improvers last year
I personally am very pleased with the results and hopefully we will all celebrate our success.
